Send Will Fightfire & Fiona Firesafety a Poster on How You Practice Fire Safety in Your Home, School, or Community and Your Poster Could be Chosen to Win a Fire Safety Gift Prize!

Will Fightfire, Fiona Firesafety, and friends are fun educational characters that take a firm approach to fire safety and education. They are quickly becoming a trusted source for fire safety information and messaging, and are becoming recognizable figures that kids and adults can find in their communities. Last year, all Will Fightfire and Friends products purchased by Ontario fire departments in October and November, or provided through the First Alert Canada/Lowe’s Canada/RONA public education/fire prevention store events, received contest entry forms to distribute during fire prevention community events!

This year, Will Fightfire and Fiona Firesafety want kids to create a poster showing them how you stay fire safe at home, at school, and in your community!

The 2020 contest focuses on how families stay fire!  Draw a picture on how you and your family practice fire safety in your home, school, or community. Have your parent or guardian complete the contact form, and send both to Will Fightfire and Fiona Firesafety by mailing or emailing your form. The contest will be run throughout October/November (which hosts Fire Prevention and Carbon Monoxide Awareness weeks), with all entries submitted back to the OAFC office by December 11, 2020. The child with the winning poster, will receive a special prize package, including: a fire safety gift pack, a $500 cash prize, and a customized offer from the local fire department (dependant on COVID-19 restrictions), which could include a fire station tour, a ride in a fire truck, and/or being a fire chief for a day. The contest runs from October 1 to December 11, 2020.
